I probably won't make it an option on my website, since not many 2.0i owners will be computer tuning and have the ability to disable the cel it will immediately throw. If you would like to order a custom header with cat delete, just email me info@RalliSportRacing.com

So for maximum improvement on my 2.0i, I'll want the header, high flow cat pipe, and cat back exhaust correct?

That will indeed give you a nice improvement, but for "maximum" improvement you'll want to wait for the EL headers. I know from our conversations that you're more interested in performance over sound, but I think a lot would rather stick with the UEL rumble, than give it up for what could amount to only a handful of additional hp. And the UEL headers on my website are no slouch, I've tried numerous different prototypes and that one beat them all.

Thanks! I'll wait for your cat back exhaust to become available then I'll order everything at once. Want to see how much more those EL's do above an UEL too. Looking forward to it! :-)

Here's the results of the 4-2-1

Here's the hp gain over stock:
RPM
2000, +0
2250, +0
2500, +0
2750, +0
3000, +1
3250, +2
3500, +3
3750, +4
4000, +6
4250, +6
4500, +8
4750, +8
5000, +8
5250, +8
5500, +7
5750, +8
6000, +8
6250, +13
6500, +29

Now there was no loss in the bottom end, peak torque was raised only 200rpm to 4200 and when the stock hp rolled off at 6000, these kept climbing another 200rpm. Again, this was just an experiment, BUT its sill UEL it still has tons of rumble and it still makes power.
Peak power aside, look at how flat that torque curve is! My Impreza 2.5 (yup no boost) is a BEAST compared to the Civic I used to drive around everyday. I think this is a nearly optimized header design.

Any updates on the headers? Will they be available? Was just linked to this thread and haven't gotten to read through yet, but definitely interested.

Just read through. Definitely interested in a catted 2.0 UEL.

In addition, ARE there any tuning options for the 2.0's yet? I know this car, especially with a cvt, could really benefit..

I would love to be able to take some of the delay and second guessing out of the DBW functionality, along with get rid of that drop then hesitate at 1.5krpm... it's all kinds of wonky if you actually know how to legitimately drive a manual. Double clutching and what not.

Agreed.

Any form of partial throttle after pulling out causes a real drop in power. It just DIES. Coming from my GSR powered CRX HF, this car with a CVT is a real turd. haha Scoots good on the highway.. But around town, no way.

What's the best combination for torque and sound that you have available, that won't throw engine codes or be a major headache.

Now necessarially header talk, but associated.

I am replacing my muffler-delete turndown with the Moore axleback on Thursday. Theirs is essentially a stock layout that loops around with an exit to the right side under the bumper, but is custom built to your specifications, with choice in muffler, tubing, etc.

However, I was considering having them instead do it straight out the back, rather than tipping under the bumper basically hidden. Similar to how the 08-style WRX wagon single-exit Is setup. Basically like the newest WRX wagon dual exit, but only with one tip. I have an idea of how it'll look, and it'll be solid. lol

Anyway, long story short, do you happen to have the diameter for the stock axleback portion of the tubing? Axle to muffler, then muffler to bumper? Specifically the muffler to bumper. Trying to work out a diagram and setup. Then when available, combining your catted UEL header with this setup. I think it'd have a great layout.

I believe AVO has a solution to the DBW.

It doesn't list our car but I do believe it works. Ok let's stay on topic. Everyone knows how this can go. Lol.

oh man this is all looking so good, can't wait for an exhaust on my car.

I'm looking for the sound and low to mid range power, this will be my first time ever changing exhaust so will the high flow cat back change anything when it comes time to do a smog check? or the headers?

also what is the difference between the optional resonator in place of HFC?

and what do they sound like? I see the axle back says it has a very aggressive tone

There are a couple of you tube videos of his prototype header for the 2.0i. Best bet is to get in touch with Mike at Rallisport and ask. I'm sure he is still going thru his backlog of 2.5 header builds so I'm just waiting to hear when my system is ready for shipment.

I've done some expensive custom builds in my time, but wavear15 wins the prize for the most expensive complete exhaust build ever!

What can I say? I really really really like my daily driver!

How's it coming along anyway or are you still fighting thru the 2.5 backlog?

I still have some "normal" 2.5i headers and some custom builds to get through before I start your build.

I have a customer that bought a 2.0i header and said that he would allow me to dyno test it, but now that I think about it, if you would be so kind as to let me dyno test your setup, I could get some piece by piece performance numbers. I'm definitely not trying to pressure you, it's just a thought I had.
