Yeah I'd like to so the STI turbo/tmic but I haven't researched what's compatible with the auto trans and what's not.

Man, you got one killer deal! Wow!

Turbo and TMIC are compatible. Pretty much and bolt ones will be, including the exhaust. Just be sure to get it tuned and you are good to go. Congrats man!

So if I wanted to just throw on the STI turbo and tmic, I'd need to get it tuned for sure? How much of a gain would I be looking at realistically, and how well will the 4EAT hold up under the increase in power?

Thanks for the congrats! I was pretty happy with the deal, 8600, ended up at $9500 out the door after taxes and fees.

If I can get away without the exhaust I'd rather do that because I'm not sure wifey would like the sound. It's her DD after all.

Nice. I just picked up my 04 XT a couple weeks ago , not to far from you. I got a manual with 126,000 miles for $6k. Timing belt was done not too long ago.

Because if she isn't happy, you'll NEVER be happy.
