Doesn't matter that much, the amber colored fluid (Gold 200?) is the same formulation.

Just ordered a can off eBay for $18 w/ shipping. With the half can I have in the garage, it should last a while for use on my motorcycles.

ATE Blue hydraulic fluid. NOT FOR USE IN BRAKE SYSTEMS! Got a printer and some sticky paper?

because the kiddie blu color isnt necessary and the type 200 is the same thing and not kiddie blu or illegal

the blue is a gimmic....its pointless or others woulda done it too

When I was tracking cars more often, I'd alternate between the Super Blue and the TYP 200 each time I flushed the brake fluid. That way, it was easier to tell when all of the old fluid was out of the system. Gimmick or not, that was kind of handy.

I read this notice twice.

It's illegal because the fluid is blue in color and that's it. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with the fluid itself.

Now because of this, there will be an idiot mad-rush to get rid of this fluid.

and that has been posted HERE at LEAST since 05 or 06

by me

and there is no real reason to use it because the type 200 is the same thing, but legal color

and those flushing the brakes who rely on the color to change to tell them they got it right....maybe should look at other ways to tell them they got it right

d000000000d.. we all know this. the only reason i like it is for the color. makes it easier when flushing brake systems. I can flush a system with normal color fluid also, and it works fine. but this just makes it easier. just like using air tools makes a job easier/ quick then using a ratchet.
