I walked into the dealership, ordered a car and walked out with a VON(Vehicle Order Number).

$80 Document Fee
$29 DMV Filing Fee
$282 DMV Fees
$8.75 Tire Fee
$2,385.72 Tax (Belmont)

I guess tax depends on where you live.
thanks, this is great info

Actually,

I cancelled that order. I found a better deal through Jason Bean at Putnam Burlingame. I ordered my new 2014 WRX base on Sept 1 2013. I got a VON and estimated delivery is January 2014. Let me know what you come across, or if you have anymore questions. Hope this helps!

Diablo Subaru has been very good to me. Better prices than Capitol or Stevens Creek from what i've seen. Larry is their best salesman there.

I dealt Larry F. at Carlsen Subaru. Nice, easy and no pressure. For service, I go to Stevens Creek Subaru. It's closest from my where I work.

+1 for Larry. If he wasn't so far I would've bought a car from him. He's 100% honest down to the bone. He told me to not get the short shifter cuz he didn't like it.

You should test drive cars both with and with out the short shifter.. Then see which one you want. I wasn't sure about a lot of add ons that I wanted, but then I would go to dealerships and do my own research and figure out what I liked and what I didn't like. He may not like it, but how would you know if you do or don't? Gotta test the waters

Larry Fong at Carlsen Subaru in Redwood City. No shady tactics, real upfront kind of guy.

Got my Subie down at Capitol Subaru in San Jose, Chris Yee let me know that there was a SWP Sedan that I was looking for was coming in a few months and that if I wanted I had a few days to let him know before he spread the word. Great guy to work with, and gives you a good deal.
