Default E85, Brookfield, CT

We've recently spoken with the owner of the Sunoco in Brookfield, CT on Federal Road. He said he'd consider getting an E85 pump if we could show 100 people interested in consuming E85 on a regular basis. Below is a petition to document these signatures. Interested? Sign.

E85 UPDATE: Henry from Mitchell called me this morning, he'd really like to see this happen. He's a little concerned with the financial responsibilities versus the amount of commitment. IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA AND EVER THINK YOU'D CONVERT TO E85, please sign, and comment about how great it'd be to benefit you and your community.

I would love to see more E85 stations, but it'd be false advertising for me to sign. I'm hardly ever in the area, however, I'd certainly make a stop if I was in passing up 84...OTOH, I'm pissed because my local E85 station in Congers, NY, seems to not have it anymore.

update: I emailed Henry asking for an update, this is what I got.

Morning Max
Still working with supplier on getting product with an effective cost. Closet place is almost 3 hour trip each way. Still working with company in finding a cost effective solution. Will let you know as so as I do.

Glad he's still looking into it. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to use the E85 for a while since my car needs a new tranny, so I need to save up for that first instead of a new tune...

still looking for a supplier, apparently the closest is 3 hours away. the closer the supplier, the further down the price would go.

I believe any action taken will be in the spring anyway, so I will bother him much more the closer to march/april we get.
