Default neew cobb AP help asap!

hey guys like I said I need help asap! i got my AP in the mail yesteray sometime for my 0 subaru wrx. I made sure it was the right model and unmarried. I followed all the steps as far as installing it, straight out of the installation guide that cam with it. There was a choice between 3 stage 1 maps for my car (stage 1 91 octane, stage 1 93 octane, and stage 1 ANS93). After reading them I thought The Stage1 ANS93 was the map that best matched my car. I have an spt intake on the car and that mentioned the cobb intake. after the install was successful i disconnected the AP, the plugs to put it into test mode, and the blue initializaton plug that came with the AP. But when I went to start my car in wont turn on. My only guess was maybe I chose the wrong tune? so I plugged the AP back in and tried to return it to stock map. But when I choose the uninstall selection, it brings me to a screen stating (make sure the ignition is in the on posistion and it shows to gears turning. but it wont leave that screen no matter how long I wait and the ignition is on. So basically Im stuck with the tune loaded and a car that wont start. PLEASE HELP!

We have no idea what car you have as your profile is not filled in and "0 subaru wrx" tells us zero.

You did not choose the right map as you did not read the map notes. One chooses the correct map, not the "closest one".

I recommend you call Cobb or talk to locals or a local shop familiar with this and seek assistance uninstalling it and keep it uninstalled until you have read the manual back and forth 3-4 times along with the map notes and get a strong understanding of what you are doing before installing again.

sorry it is an 02 subaru wrx. and If there is anything I could get done today to get it at least back to stock that would be great. I need the car for work tomorrow and was hoping something like this wouldnt happen. I have read the manual multiple times. my fault was just not reading the tunes correctly.

Just a shot in the dark, I'm not familiar with this situation. Try disconnecting the battery and see if that will reset anything. Seems like you bricked the ecu

How many times did you try to start it? Every time I flashes a new base map, sometimes it took the car a few tries turning it off and on, but never had an issue.

After that, Call Cobb!!

^^^^ +1 ,
also you can try to reset the car by taking off the negative battery cable and then press down the brake, hold it for few seconds and plug the battery back in. Now try to start the car.

I always have a hard time starting the sti when I reflash or real time. Longest one was like 6 cycles. Scared the pee outta mee what worries me is ACN ( Arizona California Nevada or however the precedence is) map on yours is AC?S? (South Carolina). Hook the AP up to the computer and download Cobb's map that applies to your vehicle and store it. Then try reflashing the car and update with results. But before that, reset you ECU by ^^^^ disconnecting the battery.
