^ would you recommend the Sylvania kit? All my parents vehicles need them done so i was going to look into some kit for them. Walked out of class at work at 9:30 AM to head to classes at TCC and noticed this.... (its not dirt) It looks like one of the defroster strips on one end messed up and caused it to shatter when i turned it on this morning. Just didn't notice it before my work class. No signs of foul play. So filed a claim with SF today and will be getting a new rear window Monday. Have to pay to get it re-tinted though

C/n rear windshield shattered due to defroster strip.

I absolutely would. I've used another brand before and that car didn't come out as nice as my wrx.

Pulled out my passenger fender liner since it started to come out after hitting a dip at about 70mph.

Also replaced my passenger speaker with one I got on here for $3 since mine started acting up ever since someone broke into my car through the passenger window.

Re-plumbed the oil cooler on my CTS-V. Got rid of the oil filter take-off adapter and the remote oil filter mount, put the oil filter back where it belongs, and added an LS-specific take-off from a port on the oil pan rail.

Next step will be to add an Accusump at some point this winter.

Installed group n trans mount, torque solutions pitch mount, white line positive shift bushings, Perrin rear subframe lockdown bushings/bolts, and Element tuning catch can. NVH is definitely more noticeable but shifts feel more firm and precise. No more clunk under hard launch.

Is that mounted somehow or does the IC just sit there? Creative and looks like it should be better cooling than the stock sti tmic judging from the thickness of it.

There are 2 brackets on the side of it... 1 on the passenger strut tower & the other going on the driver side straight back to the firewall

the bad...tried one more time to ground the abs light and install the normally open abs light delete (for my prodrive cluster). failed so put tape over the lights.

the good...removed hvac tape (the rva peeps didn't approve of the getto tape) that covered the air fender holes for the removed inlet/silencer. Replaced with an aluminum and painted and pop riveted in place piece. total of $6 to include a mostly still full spray paint.

Looks a little far back. How does it line up with the scoop? Are you still using the factory splitter or making your own?

I modified the stock splitter a lot! Changed the hood into the scoop so it is as large and a straight shot into the IC with minimal bending & a tight seal to the top of the scoop. Also had to increase the size of the hole at the bottom of the splitter where it meets the IC face, it is now as wide as the scoop & goes as far back as the scoop will let it be. Amazingly it is the perfect size to fit the IC!

With it sitting back farther the air doesn't have to make such a sharp turn to enter the IC as it did with the factory TMIC. Almost like the 08+ scoop design...

Here is the scoop after I modified it. I plan on spot welding it back together but the rivets will do just for mock up right now, I also have a second air vain to install to even out the airflow top to bottom
