So my block is finally built I just need to go back to el paso and pick it up along with the car.
Wanted to know if anyone here would be able to help me out to finish building the rest of the motor (ej257) and drop it in. This is my first subaru build and wasn't as easy as I though so decided to pay someone to build the block for me just need to throw the heads on and all the other stuff (water pump, oil pump, cam sprockets, timing etc.) So yeah if anyone has done this before and can help it would be awesome. I'll buy some beers and even pay to get it up and running soon.

Before you invest anything else in this, what tests can you run on what you have?

Torque required to turn the crankshaft, PSI/flow rate req'd to pass oil through the passages, particle count in the oil, backlash on the shafts, valve sealing competency, leakdown rates, etc.. . .?

Actually none of that came to mind. As far as all machining, it has been done but did not get the parts rotated they just bored the cylinder walls and put the heads together with new cams, valves, etc.
Wasn't aware that I had to do all that before putting it back together, still kinda new to building engines.
