Oh well..
Knowing the demographic that typically owns those cars nowadays that they're dirt cheap, are you really disappointed?

This thread reminds me of why I stopped going on car forums.

Is the new guy allowed to say that?

I put this thread up to inform people that would be interested in going. Not for a bunch of douche bags hating because they feel left out. So if u aren't interested in a hanging out with few subaru buddies that like to help eachother out the most possible with their cars/builds then just press the back button instead of trolling. Thanks.

Tom, you should've known you would get s**t for posting this. There is already an East and a Westside meet that most likely has the same agenda "hanging out with few subaru buddies that like to help eachother out the most possible with their cars/builds." Not only that, but you singled out all other years from pre 2001 and 2007-up. People aren't mad because they are left out, they're choosing to be left out.

To be honest, the only thing that makes me feel left out is not knowing what the word "trolling" means. So, I had to look it up on urban dictionary. What has this generation come to with the dictionary having to be rewritten lol

The community is just too small for exclusivity. Subaru as a company relies on the enthusiast community to a degree to maintain that sense of Subaru camaraderie and it's because everybody sticks together as a group; after all, they only make up roughly 3% of the U.S. market share. So maybe you and your two buddies think the 02-07 WRX and STI were just the best, but that's not the opinion of the community as a whole.

I never said 02-07 wrx and sti were the best.. I love all subarus but we started this group based on what we all drove and what we knew how to work on which was one of the biggest reasons for starting it. And I'm not making an island either as you make it sound. I'm not only going to talk and wave to 02-07 wrx and stis. I wave to everyone. Even old ladies in out outbacks lol. the preference could also change as this car club is in its early stages of evolving. And I will let everyone know the changes as they happen.
