What spacers could you use to lift the car and how much lift would you get?

Subtle solutions. Put 1" in front and 1 5/8" in back. Check out my thread.

How difficult was it to put these on? I wouldn't mind a little extra ground clearance

It took three hours. Had to remove front struts assembly and then compress springs to remove top hat and pound out studs to replace with longer bolts. I would say it's somewhat of an advances DIY mod because of the springs. Autozone rents tool for free

Aftermarket parts don't legally affect warranty unless the dealer proves that the part caused the problem. I suppose they could do something general like void the entire warrant with a bolt on turbo, but for things like this they can't deny warranty claims.

Exactly. They can't be like "oh, you put an exhaust on, which obviously caused your brakes to malfunction." lol Conpletely unrelated.

Do you guys think I would have any luck getting this lip to fit my car? I know its for the WRX/STI, but it's only $65 and might be sweet if i could make it work...

Unless it's something major, most of the time they try to get out of warranty work anyway. Screw it.

I think you'll be fine. While researching LED headlights for my motorcycle, I found that the type you listed were the only kind recommended by various automotive forums. The LED replacement bulb type are pretty much useless. The only downside of these is the length. Gotta have the room for them.

Here is an eBay listing that I was considering (it has ended):

I used the paranoid fabrications spacers on 2012 and it was a very easy install. I used 1" rear, 1/4" front, and it till me a total of 1.5 hours. The fronts probably took me 20min because I didn't have to remove the wheels, struts, etc. Very happy with the look. Combined with my 215/55/17 Pirelli P7's, I got 1.66" lift rear, and .91 front.

Did you need longer studs to install these on the rear?

Actually all of these are useless optically. We've tested them and a single chip won't do anything for you, nor will some tower of LEDs.

I believe they have two arrays, top and bottom.. either way, please share your insight and methods.

Like i said, I'm hesitant but am in the process of doing my due diligence. would you say they yielded no improvement over the halogens or produced less usable light?

They produce about 2/3 the light output of an HID bulb, but only in one or maybe two (if you're lucky) directions.

Also anything with active cooling is bound to fail. You need something with passive cooling like a big aluminum heat sink.

In a projector, the lower LED is useless anyway, as is the unidirectional LED chip, so we made a triple layout LED bulb:

It also has a copper core in the center to help get the heat away from the chips and out the back:

Algreen, did you have a shop paint your fog surrounds, or was that a DIY? Prep? Was thinking of color-matching mine as well.

It's actually difficult to even tell that your lifted at all cause those tires fill in the wheel gap very nicely! I'm also curious as to whether or not you had your fog light surrounds professionally painted or not.

I really need to invest in some "saggy butt" spacers. The stance of my car looks stupid with the a$$ end so much lower looking than the front. I wonder why they come from the factory like that??
