Default Lucky (Aftermath of Deer Attack)

So I was minding my own business, heading home Sunday night when a suicidal deer attacked my poor subie. I saw the head right before it hit the front fender. I knew if I stopped the car was going to take the full impact so I swerved into the oncoming lane without hitting the gas or brake.

Through some miracle the deer hit the widebody section of the rear passenger door and the rear bumper cover, but missed the rear quarter panel entirely.

Oh wow that's pretty lucky man! I came here expecting to see a whole front end blown up by a stupid deer. Glad the car is "mostly" un damaged other then those dents. Glad your all good too, GL with repair!

In the BRONX, the other day, I saw a deer ram into the rear quarter panel of a Lancer as he drove by. I slowed down and put my hazards on, and the cars slowed behind me -- deer are so dumb, they are really dumb, forreal. . . .[/AntoineDodson]

LOL I actually still have a lot of protege parts I've been hanging onto in case that happened . I still miss riding on rails sometimes. How about you?

I am probably going to put that stuff up for sale soon. After 2 years of AWD I dont see myself going back to FWD anytime soon. Going to sell my truck and get a 01 leggy as a DD.

I still have a bunch of parts around from my MSP as well. It was a fun little car. I liked the driving position and the feel of the clutch much more, I've had the WRX since Dec and there are still times I feel like a newb driving it.
