Hey all.. So I have an update.. Its little but its something. Cleaned up the shop this weekend so I can start this week on actually having some fun this week on the foz but I had to test my wrist to make sure its ready for action... So I went biking and it held up fine. SOOOOO RELEAVED!!! I was going to be devistated if I had to give up biking but it looks like I don't even have to baby it as long as I hit the transistions... lol

I did however get to put my custom rack back on my 2 and I didn't really think I could make the car look any better but apperently I can; so if any of you were wondering what those dimples on my roof were for...

I'll be starting actual work on the FOZ tonight getting parts off it and maybe contuning on my hatch relocation...

Glad to see you can still go biking. After I wrecked and broke my radius/dislocated my wrist it took a long time to be able to ride. The wrist was weak for a long time. I went back out and conquered the trail I wrecked on as soon as I could ride. I actually rehabed my wrist by working as a mechanic. I tried everything with my left hand first.

I have some pretty good ones but most can be found on my photobucket.

Here is the link to the MR2 Folder:

http://s186.photobucket.com/user/bad...45026124282709

Also as a momento of the fact that I didn't think I would get back up to Whister this season I bought a profecianally taken pic on my last day. Its a good one so I'll throw that up too...

Made a little progress on the Foz I am still having issues with my wrist. However I have been working on it in the digital world re-doing some of the parts that I am going to cut with a plastma table to cut down on Fab time and hopefully allow me to work better with my wrist. I'll be posting pics of the final renderings in a couple weeks.

I learned when i was in autobody tech at BTC. I just adapted my skills from there. The Celaru project taught me a lot. People can tell you anything you want to hear but doing is where you learn. My welder to date has had over 200lbs of wire ran through it. I learned more in thise 200lbs then anything anyone told me. Get out there and do it!

Hey all.... So I got some bad news… My wrist is no longer strong enough to be doing these crazy ass builds, and I am at a crossroads to ether spend the money to try and tough it out and realize I can't, or to just let go and part out before I get in way too deep so I have taken the easier way out. I hate to say it but my days of these really crazy projects are pretty much over. I still have a couple things I'm going to be doing with my MR2 and I just bought an 08 Legacy 3.0R, but this project unfortunately is over. Sorry guys I'm bummed; but there will be other things from me in the future as my wrist heals but this will not be one of them.

However, if any of you need advice, or a second perspective, or just want to shoot the **** with me, feel free to pm me. I’m not one to sound conceded, but I have done a few things that are "not of the norm" so I have a lot of experience I'm more than willing to share.

I have a build thread on an MR2 forum for the MR2 but if there is any desire I can put one up in the projects section since some of you were fallowing it and I will make one for the new Lego when I actually start doing **** to it in the spring when I heal a little more. My plan is to make it a reincarnation of my old Legacy. Little flares, clean paint and wheels, for a Performance VIP look since it will be my daily, and the MR2 will get many more horsies and suspension/ brake upgrades to be the sunny drive/ track/ auto x plaything.

Really bummed to hear this. If I keep going the way I am, I will be retiring and doing some project of his nature soon. I may just hit you up for info when the time comes. Don't be too quick to give up, we heal well usually, and you may find that doing this is where you still want to be.

Really bummed about this, man. You had some insane builds.

Good luck with the healing process on your wrist. Are you doing rehab?

I'm not giving up. By no means am I giving up working on cars, but this project is just too much for me and my wrist to handle.

I just need to shift what and how I work on cars to keep my wrist safe so I don’t over work and hurt it. I have been looking into doing a lot more using jigs and stuff cuz I can easily build them on a table. New suspension arms for the Legacy and the MR2. Custom Supercharger Kit for EJ engine. Custom Turbo Kit. I will still have build threads. The new Lego will be getting one starting shortly I have some ideas I want to explore on the H6 platform. The MR2 will also be getting some extensive suspension and engine modifications as time and funds allow. The “Subreal Atom” project still has some value to it and due the way it will be built, I can handle it with my wrist, but I have my other 2 cars to work on first so by no means will I just die and fade into the shadows I still intend to be active with cars.

My to-do list for 2014 is already pretty long and be on the lookout for my Legacy 3.0R build thread as well as check out my MR2 thread on the other forum. Also I will post a couple mini threads on some turbo kits and supercharger kits I need to make so I’ll be around.
