Default 2013 WRX Hatchback Stage 2 91oct

Hey Everybody,

I told myself that I wouldn't upgrade but that definitely didn't happen. I'm at about 7k miles and went stage 2 last week. My mods include Invidia Catted Downpipe, Invidia Q300 Catback, and Cobb SF Intake. The first map I used was Stage2+Intake 91 MTv310 Normal Wastegate. After doing some datalogs I notices I was about 2psi under target boost, so I switched to the High Wastegate map. Here is my datalog now.. I'm confused as it says my Target Boost is only 14.97 at it's highest point. The map notes say It should be 17.5. What's goin on here??

Also, another question, in first gear just starting out (Not doing a pull or anything), my accessport gauge will say I'm boosting like 2psi but my target is 20. Whyyy??

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...UE&usp=sharing

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hey you are bit under the boost you should try using high wastegate map if you're underboosing and low if you're over boosting make sure you are in 3rd gear when doing your runs in 3rd gear. Also wait for Bill to give you his feed back. All best

Also if your boost target is 20 I have no idea why in the log its 14 psi you should ask bill about that or maybe you got the wrong map in I think that 14psi is what the engine has set from the factory.

If I remember correctly, the boost targets for lower rpms are set higher to decrease spool time (try and build boost faster), so that would explain the higher boost target you are seeing at low rpm. According to your log, you are overboosting (positive TD boost error), which is not what you want. This is with the target set at ~15psi. I would double check the map you are running (check via accessport) and make sure you are using the right one. It is possible the map notes you are looking at don't match up with the map. Just my 2 cents.

I have a feeling your at higher altitude. Just go by what your actual boost is and add or subtract the TD error depending if it's positive or negative to see what your actual target is. I would not switch to the hwg map leave it the way it is. The boost target is only accurate at sea level.

What altitude are you at?
