Hey all, just a heads up, if you could spread the word a bit to a couple of friends i would appreciate it. i just posted on craigslist a turbo I'm trying to sell (i have two of `em and I'm not trying to power an air craft carrier). Only need one to eventually go on my Protege. Anyway, here's the link, let people know, hope this helps someone else out (and me) maybe because they need this. Why? Because racecar.

http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/pts/4059528243.html

Like the post says, OBO, shoot me those offers.

Thank guys!

Hey there! What'd ya buy? Plz join us on FB on flat4society as well as txic. We meet up all the time for cruises as well as food and wrenching. My name is Michael Martin. Look for me on flat4society pronto! In my personal opinion, JMS in converse is the only place in San Antonio to go! Welcome! Subaru Nation!!!

Hey guys! I'm here in SA and I'd like to know if there are any reputable shops that sell variety of lug nuts with a key before I head back to Corpus.

Hello, everyone! I'm new to the Subaru world and just joined the forums yesterday after a several months of just reading. After a years wanting one, I finally bought my first WRX (first Subaru, for that matter) a few months ago and I couldn't be happier with it.

However, a kid who apparently wasn't quite as happy with it decided to alter it for me via a rear-end collision a couple of days ago. The damage wasn't major, but repairs will include replacing at least the left muffler and pipe. I'm going to North Park Collision tomorrow for a second estimate; Caliber Collision gave me the first.

From that, my question: A friend suggested that I might be able to get the shop to let me pay the difference and have them install an upgraded CBE thereby saving nearly $300 minus the additional labor. Has anyone had luck with any shops in town agreeing to that? Or have advice against it?

Welcome to SA and to the Subaru community. We have a weekly Thursday meet up (posts in the SA TXIC FB group) along with cruises, etc (think much of this is posted in Flat 4). Cooler weather has people excited to do more drives. Several us are also active in the autocross realm. So whichever is your flavor, we look forward to seeing you out.

Welcome and sorry about the accident. While I don't like most body shops... several have had luck with Jack's Paint Place (including myself), Art's Paint and Body and Caliber Collision near 35/1604. Good luck with whomever you chose and be sure to let us know how it goes so we can know to use them (or avoid!11!).

Moved down here on the 15th. Will be here at least a year maybe more if the job works out. I am loving the abundance of e85 stations so close to me (compared to Dallas, waaay better). That and the fact that it's not too far from Austin where I have family. The heat I can stand but this humidity is going to kill me. I'm ready for temps to start dropping already
