C/S making loud noise from right front, Install customer ordered R/F OE strut. Perform alignment.

Hmmm. might need more than a strut...

like maybe a spring...

and maybe .... WTF...

Customer cannot afford repair, drove it off the lot as seen.

That's when you put on the strut and do an alignment and tell him he still needs parts. I assume no one carries insurance anymore???

It took a 20 min discussion of why it physically would not fit. Because it's "for that car!"

Never mind the 3 tires showing steel because he was rotating them to get them to last more than a few days. 4 totally different tires.

I have no clue how someone could not notice that. I can tell right away when my rotors are even the slightest bit warped, better yet non existent.

I had to do an emergency brake job a a lady-friend's jeep that was nearly that bad. She asked me to look at the brakes and found all 4 front pads down to metal, plus one of the front tires down to the belts. Ignorance is bliss.

With that being said, sometimes I hate the blundering morons that operate motor vehicles.

it was a drive shaft nut on an old truck. i couldn't fit anything in there but wrenches. fortunately my best friend since childhood is my Snap On dealer. So he just "swept it under the rug"

Swept it under the rug? And he was your best friend? He'll I've only known my snap on guy for a few years now and if it's broken and says snap on or blue point on it I get a brand new one. Doesn't matter how it happened.

Agreed, thought this was one of the reasons to buy snap on
