Default importing GD in a few years?

This is more of a "do you think itll be as popular as importing GC's"

We never got a turbo GC so to import them is an amazing choice.

We had wrx for 02-03 but swapping also easier in those years?

I gues my question is do we think there will be as many GDs coming over as GCs or maybe just the rare S and spec class cars coming over?

Personally an S202 would be a nice ride.

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are.

With the exception of a few special models it wouldnt spark my interest as much. Certainly not past 04 when we have domestic sti's designed for our gas/roads.

i highly doubt it unless they are significantly cheaper. (or if you just prefer RHD veh)

as for the special ones, unless someone is out to collect them as is, doubt it as well.. everyone mods them and they just end up being better IMHO.

there won't be as many GDs. It's simply not as "rare". The only reason GCs exist heavily is due to us only have our econo models which end up taking more money if anything to swap.

Ya thats what I figured as well and ya even the s202 is a wing and turbo and trim ... a beautiful car stock but a few thousand into a wrx and its better.

Oh well just wanted to see.

Any of the current imports feel the same? Alex?

not likely. i personally like gc's for weight/power ratio.
especially v-ltd 1210kg/300hp with all lsd's and dccd.
can you beat that? (...only if you swap 6sp into)
btw i have one fresh from the boat

if i still import by then i'll get skylines

I would certainly do it. People are still going to want top dollar for their not-so-new ringland failure wonders.

You could probably land a minty v8/9 for $15k. It's more than different turbo and seats. You have the EJ207 now. Every special JDMmadtyteyo option that people sell their children for now comes factory on your car.

Did I mention, you get the EJ207?! Forget about your silly stage 2 and no progress beyond there. Slap a 3071r or an EFR 6758 on there and prepare for near permanent smiles on the faces of you and all your occupants

As much as I like the GD bodystyle I am certain it won't be as popular to import in comparison to the GC
