Default What Happened to the 08-14 Hatchback taillight thread!?

I am trying to paint my tailights on my 12 hatch and i remember there was a thread with a guy who would do it for you but i want to do it myself. Any idea where to find and what paint to use for the look below!?

Search, its been covered a million times. The best option for painting is the VHT niteshades in red. There are other options, but this one is meant for this exact purpose.

hey I'm actually do this mod tonight and I wanted to share something I figured out. So I'm decent at painting but don't have much experience with masking, being that I'm a perfectionist as almost everyone of us is with these beautiful cars. With that said my biggest fear was getting my rounded corners absolutely perfect, so I bought the 1/4" masking tape but still couldnt make the corner a perfect radius without flat spots, so I took scissors and made a bunch of tiny cuts about 75% through the tape spaced 1/16th- 1/8" apart, this allowed me to "bend" the tape perfectly and follow the radius on the tail light good enough to be very happy with. For those who have figured this out, sorry I'm posting something so obvious.... good luck everyone.
