Please post pictures of this when done. This will be the same setup I was going to do. Crazy thing is I thought I was going to be the only one with it lol. I will basically be trying to match the Grey on the 2011 grill. I will be leaving some of the light black like it already is though.

Look awesome! I always stay away from baking the lights and stick to a heat gun. I've seen lenses crack on the inside from too much heat or being in the oven for too long.

I would never use a heat gun. You can never heat all the sealant equally. Never had a problem using the oven.

This post almost gives me the confidence to do this myself, however i am a perfectionist when it comes to DIY - so i feel like this will just drive me crazy. Does anyone know of any shops in NE that would do something like this? I am debating whether or not to just tint the headlights when i get the windows done this spring but i don't think it will look as good. Also interested in HID retrofit but i no nothing on that so will have to do some more lurking.

When you mentioned baking for two hours at low heat, was that an alternative to cure instead of letting it cure over night? Going to tackle this project tomorrow if I can find the paint I want and wanted to avoid leaving the bumper off all night.

No issues so far with fogging?

Those of you asking about the output for the high beams, remember it is a light reflector, the darker the color the more light that is absorbed and less that is reflected. It's like wearing a black T-shirt in the summer, you get really hot.

Rosedale, looks incredible. Ever think of painting your supertones another color? I'm thinking of doing the WR blue where the red is.

Yes he does, however he did not use glass stain, different then gold paint which is available at anywhere that sells rattle cans. My comment was aimed at rosedale.

Guess I will have to wait until I get the glass stain which I would prefer over the color paint. I did the Nokya bulbs in my last car and on black it looked sweet but want that effect from all angles.

Remember what brand you used?
