Some guy while filling up right after a rallyx for the trip home.

Guy: I like the mud.
Me: Thanks
Guy: That isn't made to go offroad, is it?
Me: Yeah man, It's a rally car. Got the tires there in back. I built it to go fast on dirt and gravel.
Guy: Yeah, I know what it is, it's one of those W... WXRs right?*pump clicks off *
Me: You're looking for WRX, but no, it isn't. It's a RS. Thanks guy, have a good one.

It was like the outskirts of Camden. Its still Camden though. What made it not as bad though, there was the only other white guy there driving behind me.

It was police officer 1 of 2

N/A '13 Impreza 5sp... happened 3 times in October at different gas stations. Conversation is very similar every time

Me: Fill it regular, dont top it off please and thanks.
Attendant: Fill it?
Me: Yeah
Attn: Regular?
Me: Yes
Attn: Dont these take premium?
Me: The ones with the hood scoop and turbo do. But this one doesn't, so regular please.
Attn: You sure?
Me: (Slight chuckle) Yeah, I'll take the risk with regular.
Attn: hmm...okay, if you say so.

No BS, they were about early to late 20s to mid 30s, 2/3 occurrences happened with my GF in the passenger seat.. she just grins. I didn't think the gold wheels and tint made it look so race car... I digg it =]

When I took mine to get tinted, main guy I dealt with at the shop took one look at the car and knew exactly what it was. The other guy however, as the car gets pulled into the shop he yells out...
Him: What is that thing, a Saturn?
Me: WTF really? No
Him: Oh is it a Scion?
His coworker: Dude, stop talking.
He then looks at me an apologizes for the ignorance of his young coworker.

Thankfully he installs tint better than he knows his cars.

At the go kart track this weekend, I had a "computer engineer" tell me my car has a fwd bias and its mostly fwd and will only send 50% of the power to the rear wheels in "certain conditions." Said reason being they made it that way so "idiots wont crash them" as it will understeer rather than oversteer. I just had a little grin, along with a few others there and allowed him to go on lol

Sounds like he thought you had a Haldex AWD unit. That's how my Volvo S60R behaved.

I had to get gas today, and the station I went to was fairly crowded. All the pumps were occupied except for one or two, meaning I had to maneuver my way through, little revs in reverse/forward until I got to the pump. My car sounded pretty loud, and a lot of people were looking at me haha. When I stepped out of the car this guy said, "Wow! That thing sounds like a Ferrari! Sounds good".

The thing is, that's not the first or even second time someone has said my WRX sounds like a Ferrari. Just thought is was kind of funny haha

He was talking about the new 2015 WRX and STI. We all know with how Subaru made this car look he must have been on the design team.
