Default Some questions on a 1.8 to 2.2 swap

Hey guys I have a 93 impreza l with a fwd 5 spd and i'm about to pick up a 91 legacy l with the 2.2 and a fwd 5 spd. I've seen some short references to how easy the swap is but is there anything I should look out for? So far I've gathered that the trannys are the same and I should have no issues putting the legacys tranny into the impreza and that the 2.2 is essentially the same engine with larger bore so it mounts the same. I also heard that you can use the 1.8's ecu but I presume you use the 2.2's wiring with the 1.8 sensors.
My question on top of verifying the above is, do they use the same exhaust? can i keep the 1.8's ac condensor? what about the radiator keep the 1.8 or swap the 2.2?

Any other things I should note before I start will be greatly appreciated as well.

On a complete side note, Can you bolt in the 02-03 wrx rear brakes if you have the entire brake assembly and hub? Would you need the parking brake assembly as well if you have the rear drum and no abs? Would the fact that the wrx had abs complicate anything? Also would you need a larger brake master cylinder?

thanks ALOT for any help

finished the swap. Wasnt exactly as easy as I thought but at least now I can answer my own question for the most part. Not the most powerful car but its still quite a bit of fun and better than the 1.8.

You can use the 1.8 computer
you can use the 2.2 transmission but youre going to need the half shafts from the 2.2
The EGR was blocked off and I have no check engine
I think we swapped intake manifolds i honestly cant remember right now.
We also had to swap our throttles because of the positioning of it.

Next we're going to see how difficult it is to swap a 1.8 into a legacy that had a 2.2. Hate to see a good engine goto waste

I believe you can use the same trans but I'm not sure if you will have any issues with your sensors or if everything will just plug and play
