Default BPV/BOV delete

Did the delete by using a piece of acrylic from an old basketball backboard. Been argued over on so many forums about this mod, so I thought I might as well try it. Butt feel is that there is NO horsepower increase but definitely a better response in between gear changes. No CEL light so all seems good, need to go log some numbers.

Can't seem to hear that "chirp chirp" compressor surge sound. Maybe I'm not driving hard enough. Oh yeah, I drive a 2008 WRX sedan with AVO380 and top mount, forged internals.

There's clear RTV? OK, thanks for the heads up, I'll go look for it.

Looks like some female anatomical part now. My friends rib me about it.

I did this for a while, I didn't like the between shifts. Everything else was fine. You won't hear it with anything other than a short air intake, silicon intake etc

+1 for creativity but... I'm sorry but that looks pretty ghetto fabulous. Why not take the intercooler and cut of the elbow to the bpv and have it welded shut.
Also what is up with the random vacuum line that is zip tied shut? Just remove it and put a vaccuum cap on the source.

I put the BPV back after a few weeks. Feel more comfortable with it. Furthermore, the meth is coming in.

You can see the nozzle drilled in the corner of the pic.

You are going to RUIN your turbo's bearings. This is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen someone do.
