It's finally warming up in Alaska. I had an opportunity to wash the car since it was a nice evening after work tonight. It's the first good carwash of the season. Nice and shiny! New wheels for the summer too. Its great to get rid of the winter grime, but now I can see the chips, dings and a new dent

Nice car! I love how clean the engine bay is. That's a great example of a 1st gen.

Hey guys, I'm about to scoop up my 93 Legacy tomorrow and I was wondering what everyone is using for front lips and mud flaps? Thanks so much in advance. I've been digging through the thread but have yet to see specific names/years in terms of compatibility .

A lot of people use the 06-07 STi V-limited lip, it needs some work to get it to fit just right, but looks really nice when it's done. As for mudflaps, there is always Rally-Armor flaps. I don't like that look, so I've been on the hunt for some OEM splash guards. The molded look is something that I like. I think that's why I don't care for the Rally-Armors.

Congrats on your new purchase, and have fun building it. Check out http://bbs.legacycentral.org/ for more info. It's a 1st Gen Legacy specific forum. Good guys on there.

I've been on that non-stop. Thanks for your advice. I really want RA flaps, I just love the look of them. You're in luck; my car comes with the rubber OEM flaps and I'd be looking to get rid of those once I scooped up some RAs. I want urethane RA flaps and I've "heard" that the bugeye WRX ones fit nicely.

Can anyone speak as to which flaps would work best?

Looked at three rusty 1st gen Leggies recently. None were meant for me. Meh.

I need a new winter daily driver.

Not exactly sure how I've missed this incredible thread!! I just went through it from page 1 to page 22. Now I want to leave work and go home so I can turn wrenches on my Lego and get the rest of my parts pile installed. :-)

Thankfully I have an extremely understanding wife (unlike the previous wife) who is ok with my obsession and tends to lend a hand working on the car too.

**In the works for next year is an EJ205/EJ257 Hybrid build but the size up the upgraded turbo is yet to be decided upon.**

Here's info and pics of my baby:
