So I've been back in Alamogordo for 5 days now and I have seen 6 subies on Holloman and 2 downtown...WTF...I guess nobody is on here. I guess I'm gonna have to be a stalker and start following these guys or leave notes on their windshields.

It's okay, I actually went to San Diego and back this past week. Here's how it is going right now:

Took this out today.

Still been trouble shooting knock issues, a meandering AFR, and a slipping clutch. I should be back on the road Tuesday, hopefully have the entire issue solved Wednesday.

Thanks, I appreciate the gesture. I'm a professional mechanic (in most respects) So it is nothing extravagant. I'm just having to learn all the ins and outs of the Subaru ECU systems and why they occasionally freak out. nmlittlebigman has been helping me out with ideas and tips. But pulling a transmissions, that's cake. I've pulled bigger ones...

Welcome. I am north of you about an hour. Take a drive up to Hatch today for their Chile festival. I don't know what kind of car scene (if any) will be going on, but you will get a taste of world famous chile peppers and great food.

Nice! Go to Phoenix (5hrs away) and look for a car there. You'll find one. Not many to choose from out here

I'm in Roswell right now, just saw a WRB STI sedan. I'm in a dirty bugeye silver wagon. I'll be headed back to T or C on Saturday.

I grew up south of Roswell so family is here. While visiting last weekend I called my boss of four years and asked if he needed any help. He begged me to stay six weeks but I am only able to stay one. May be back next week after the weekend though.

right on. I'm actually staying a bit south of Roswell in a ranch near the dairies. Definitely enjoying my stay out here for work given i'm from southern cali. It's a nice change! I really wish I had my subie out here to play around in the dirt roads- maybe you can take me for a ride in the wagon. haha

Even better, we can go to some sand dunes. Haha. I grew up outside of Hagerman. I'm currently staying with my brother east of Hagerman and working at a farm just south of Roswell (Graves Farm.) Come get some chile!

I went out to the new Wal-Mart on Northrise Dr in las cruces Friday night (last night). I was kind of hoping to see some rides, people used to mass in large numbers Friday night's back in New York. I don't know las cruces yet, but it seems car enthusiasts-challenged. I doubt that's the case but since I can't find the spot, I wanna make the spot. Whose down for a meet Friday night (09/13) or even Saturday night (09/15) at las cruces Wal-Mart on Northrise Dr? Maybe a multi forum meet?? If it leads to a drive, so be it.

Clearly nobody is in Alamogordo otherwise those sticky notes would have worked.

I will be moving to Holloman/ Alamogordo from Korea in September. Ive got a wife and kid now so I Probably wont be able to come out as much as I used to but Im hoping meet some other subaru/ awd/ anything auto enthusiast in the area. It seems like Holloman will be getting alot more personnel in soon so hopefully some of them are fellow subie fans
