Holy crap. I just tried to read this last page of this thread. Is this seriously 45 pages of people asking "will this wheel and/or tire combo fit my car"? Do some research people, damn.

I just picked up some 2010 Oem wrx wheels for my 2005 Wrx wagon. Specs are 17x7 with a +55 offset. Based on the guide on the first post is it a good idea to run these wheels due to offset being a bit more...

Yes you will be fine. Assuming you are going to be running stock size tires? (225/45R17)
Even if you bumped up to a 235/45R17 you will still be fine.

Default 2011 wrx rim on 02 wrx

02 WRX
Whiteline coilovers 35mm drop, plus whiteline rear camber bolts.
Camber rear -1 , front -1.5, zero toe
Tire size 215/45/17 Bridgestone Adrenalin

I want to put on a set of OEM 2011 rims. Will they clear the spring perch? I test fitted them and there appears to be a few mm clearance between the rim and the perch on the rear. What is the min recommended clearance between the rim and spring perch at the rear?

OEM 2011 rim info from Master thread on OEM wheels

Offset: +53
Bolt pattern: 5x100

Do spacers help to increase or decrease a wheels offset? Example: taking a wheel with a +50 offest and adding a 5mm spacer. Did that just change the offset and if so which direction (up to +55 or down to +45)?

I found the best way to learn about fitment and how things work is to punch in sizes on a wheel/tire calculator and stare at it.

Is a +42 offset on 16x7 wheels too bad for 07 2.5i wagon?
Following the first post it's quite off the "Nirvana"...can anyone confirm?
Thanks.

I have a 95 jdm wrx looking to get fender flares and 17s or 18s and thinking 9 or 10 wide. What would I need for a offset and will this fit my stock breaks wit no rubbing?
Thanks in advance!

I have a 2010 wrx hatch, narrow body. I'm currently running OZ Supperleggera 17x7 et48. I'm on stock suspension. I'm going to get some 17x8 soon, but am wondering on what the lowest offset i can get before having to roll my fenders. Also, if i roll my fenders how much lower can i go?

on the 08-14 sti and 11+ wrx - anywhere between 40-45 for an 18x9.5 is a perfect fitment as far as style and function.

Varrstoen 18x9.5 es6 with a +35 offset with a 235/40 18 tires. Will they work with just fender rolling or do I have to get rear camber adjustment. If so which would anyone recommend?? I have Tein basis coilovers. Thanx

You haven't even told us what car you drive.

What year? Sedan? Wagon? What brand tires? You need to help us help you.

But in general if you have a GD you WILL need some from of rear camber control (ideally camber plates), and depending on how much you're lowered you'll need to do a bit more than just a roll.

I have a 18x9.5 with a +30 offset wheel the way it's fitted is perfect. I found a new wheel I want but no +30 they only have +2... Would I need a wider wheel or more narrow wheel to keep my fitment the sAme. Iwhat size would be a near perfect match to the +30 wheel?

I'm not trying to be a dick, but this is way over your head.

You need to find either the same exact wheel (make, model, size), or buy a brand new full set.

Pretty certain he's talking about a whole new set, just didn't pluralize the word structure.

However, running those kinds of setups, you really should already know what you need to do with the wheel width to maintain similar fender clearances....
