Hahahaha the way the snow packed into the wheels looks hilarious! Clean that out fast I once had a similar experience except I left the snow over night it became ice. Let's just say I had a bad time.

Yea I like em too in the 17x9 +20 flavor. Sadly the 17x10 doesn't come in the right bolt pattern.

Based on the consensus I am under the impression I will Need at least a roll in the rear. However, my question for anyone that may know is can you roll the rear while leaving the STI "fender flares" on or must you remove them? And if needed to be removed what is the best way to go about that?

Thanks for reading.
Normally, you would get flamed for that question. However, i feel since you read the ENTIRE thread (because i didnt) you deserve a good answer lol. You must remove the flare piece. Plan on the plastic clips breaking, or being un usable afterwards. Its really a matter of opinion, but i hear a lot of guys just gluing those back on after the job is done. Also, you can't really use a fender roller on the rears because of them being so thick. (i forget what the piece is called) but you have to basically cut it out and then you can roll/pull the fenders. If you stick your finger up in there, you can tell its a different and thicker material. There are various methods to doing all of this, if you check out TehClap's threads/website on IWSTI.com it will help.

They also have some Enkei 92 lookalikes. Biggest size they come in is 17x9 tho. However, i bet they would look BALLIN on a subie.

Alright, I've looked through about 100 pages and still cant figure out what size to get, could someone please help me out. I have a 13 wrx hatch and wanted to get xxr527 to run with stock sized tires. So far i know i need them in 17x8.25 (will have a little stretch on the stock tires?), but cant figure out what offset if i want them to sit flush. Do plan to lower it eventually but it will not be low enough to tuck.

Go with the 35's. You will be ok.

Hello, pretty new to the forum. I've had my '09 WRX hatchback since the beginning of August 2013.

I've read through about a quarter of the pages of this forum but have yet to find a clear and concise answer to whether the 521's will fit the WRX or not. If this could be cleared up if greatly appreciate it.

Also, running stock suspension, would any of the fenders need to be altered to accommodate the rims?

Depending on offset, you should be good to go.

So for future reference what would give me a flush look for when I eventually go lower? Would an 18x8.5 +35 get me to where I want to be?

For those that might want to go up in width with stock tires and wondering how much stretch it will have check out this site, it has pictures of all tire sizes on various rim widths

Yea, the +35 offset should work. That is the correct width, unless you want to modify fenders. Probably not going to be able to fit a very aggressive tire under there, still.

well after hours of searching finally found exact same setup i am going to run so glad you posted that
