I actually have not rolled the fenders yet. I had only had very little rubbing with current setup. I will be rolling them come spring time though. When I have a full car and hit a deep pothole, I rub fairly hard, and I want to eliminate that issue.

What offset are your wheels? I'm curious cause I have some 8.5 width wheels, but the offset is 35. I'm curious as to what width of tire I would be able to get away with.

can i install a k sport air bag suspension on my 2000 outback? i would want my pre-ride set about 2.5inches lower than it is now (stock) i've been looking at these setups on NASIOC and around the internet and noticed no one has bagged a legacy outback yet. is there a reason? am i going to run into any problems that would prevent me from using a bagged suspension as opposed to coil overs? thanks for any help.

My girlfriend's 2001 on 08+ Wrx racelands. Spring perches still in correct place, just spun very far into the mount. Lowered 5.75" in the front and 6" in the rear. Rear camber is -4*, front is just over 1*. Wheels and tires are 16x7 stock wrx wheels, unsure on the offset, clearly not low enough. Tire size is 205/50/16.

how much fabricating did you have to do in order to make 08+ wrx coils fits or did they go right in?

Rear top hats are different. Swap them for 05 to 09 legacy tap hats or pull the studs drill new holes and insert the studs back in the top hats.

Hands down the best looking Outback I've ever seen. Have been contemplating selling my car, but this just made me decide to keep it!

The two Outbacks above make me want to break out my wallet and troll Craigslist immediately, ha. Such a great combination of aggressive and sleeper.

Front top hats are different too, need to drill new holes in the strut tower. Not that hard to line up though.

Here's the sister to my girlfriend's '01 outback I posted a while ago. This is my '00 RWD outback with a single catted straight pipe. It's annoying, it's ugly, but my god is it fun.

might as well throw my Outback XT into the ring here too. Just lowered with Legacy GT suspension, 07 WRX rims, low profile Avids. It's a nice clean look that appears stock.

Probably all the same folk that are on the LegacyGT forum have seen mine. Pretty much only suspension upgrades and wheels/tires for her.

I also like the supertones and blacked-out grill. Did you use Plasti-Dip?

Until I saw your OB, I was not a big fan of the newer gens (mine's 3rd gen). But yours looks great! Nice combo of wheels and ride height!
