Question Looking for a good SoCal suspension/rally setup shop

Hi,

I want to replace the aftermarket suspension on my 2002 WRX with something more appropriate for some off highway fun (dirt/gravel fire roads, shallow water crossings, nothing too radical).

What I have on the car now are the stock shocks with aftermarket springs that are twice the stiffness of the oem springs. The shock bodies were modified to lower the car 1" and work with adjustable camber plates. The car was setup for auto cross, which I no longer do.

The ride is too harsh for an enjoyable daily drive. I'd like to go the opposite direction now, adding a few inches of clearance over stock setup. Maybe add a skid plate and swap the 17" wheels for 15" rally wheels.

I need a local shop that can hook me up and help me make the appropriate equipment decisions.

Any suggestions? I'm located in Irvine and would prefer something within an hour driving distance.

Thanks!

Your best bet is to go over (or ask a moderator to move this one) and post on your local chapter for help.
