Just curious as to how it went down when couvar crossed the border.

Wondering like if the Border Patrol Guard (BPG), force him to delete all his video on the spot. What if he didnt have access to a personal laptop. Or didn't know that you can hold down the button to reformat the dash cam. Or did the BPG take the microSD card and used it on one of their computers inside to delete the footage.

Weird.. Maybe you just got a douche.

I've run front and rear cameras for about a year now and have been over and back probably 20+ times as well with no issues. Are your cameras super visible? I find most people don't notice mine unless they're looking for them or you tell them.

bump this up!

Check it out! Ctogo in the news! And Alex from blackboxmycar.com. I bought mine off him and although I haven't actually had to use any of the footage from them yet I'm happier that they're in my car.

Got a new dash cam the other day. This will be my fourth one in two years. Quality are as good as the expensive Korean brands but it is easier to adjust the settings on this unit since it has a 2.7" display. Here's some pics of the unit.

I had an issue with one of my cams and after a couple emails and a bit of troubleshooting with Alex, he said it would be covered under warranty. No RMA or lengthy hoops to jump through.

Stopped by this evening and he came out with the new cam, reformatted my card, and made sure it was all working before I left. Didn't even have time to get out of my car! Great service and stands behind his products.

I have the MiVue 358 Dash cam and I gotta say that it really does the job well. It turns on automatically when plugged in, and turns off after 5 seconds when the car is turned off. It has a huge list of features and I definitely recommend it. I used to have a go pro but it was so inconvenient turning it off and then back on when I was done driving.

so what's the hotness in dash cam these day? my DR400G is pretty much on it's last legs and it's time for a new one. notice that the DR600GW will be coming out soon. trying to decide if I should wait for it or get the DR500GW. if I pre-order the DR600GW, it comes with a power magic pro, which makes the price almost the same as the DR500.

I know mine doesn't have GPS but the Mobius action cam has been pretty popular on the radar detector forum I belong to. Going to buy one for the rear in the near future
