Anyone on here fans of the UFC? Maybe a get together for the fights Saturday night 2/1 at BWWs or something. Thoughts?

I'd be in for that if I don't go snowmobiling this weekend.

Not sure if serious... The 1970s automotive landscape was altered by far more than the oil crisis. It's downright silly to believe otherwise.

It's not physically possible. As you can see the transmission is completely behind the front wheels.

Moving the engine forward if it were somehow possible would ruin the chassis' neutral handling characteristics. It would also introduce the understeer during hard cornering that all of us know so well. The added weight would further hinder and complicate things. The car would be ruined and priced out of it's intended market.

Yet if they were to do all of this and name it say I don't know Alcyone or SVX or something I would still want it.

an extra gear can contribute to a slower 0-60 time. one more reason why it isn't a very relevant measurable. among other things.

i for one am pretty excited about the new car. i did not expect it to be the actual concept car, because, concept. and being a turbo awd sedan priced in the $20's, it's still in a class of 1, until you spend 40% more. unless a potential new mazdaspeed6 is a killer i see a third wrx in my near future.

yep! Mike! I'm sorry I can't remember your name :/ I still have the corolla, but it's waiting in "storage" for me to move to a real house some day so I can leisurely work on it. Bought my dad's 03 wrx. What have you been up to?

Track hoe!! Lol I got a big grand setup planned, but for now keeping a realistic budget. Donor car was an 06 wrx, gonna keep it stock w/ bolt on and a stage 2 setup for the first year or so.

Btw for those of you on Facebook, I'll have pics and what not going up on my race page, it is KLR Racing if you wanna like the page. The profile pic is two bugeye wrx's if that helps you find it.

Hey Allan, I don't believe we've ever met. I got to Dubs in the Valley sometimes but I don't really know any of the valley crew. I know Mike the DJ and that is about it.

I've spit the last ten years between 4 VWs and 4 Subarus. I miss my Super Beetle and I still have three of the Subies.

I forgot why I was here. Oops.

A local guy on the Outback forum was looking for somebody that rolls fenders, he is trying to get some bigger A/T rubber under his Outback. Can anybody recommend somebody? Obviously there is a lot of wheelgap here so know shadetree baseball bat jobbers.
