These are sand cast prototypes. The final product will have a better finish and use a somewhat different process (I don't want to give out all our secrets . It will be made from 347, which is commonly used in casting processes as it is another version of 304 that is alloyed with titanium VERY similar to 321. So similar in fact, when welding 321 you use 347 filler rod

I think being one of the first to use your killer header I should be the first when the next one comes with the killer collector gezzuss

Any idea when those will be available? And how do the current collectors compare?

Maybe I missed it somewhere in the thread, but why does the O2 sensor mount towards the inside, unlike the stock one that points to outside?

Is it maybe so you can leave header/02 sensor in when pulling the motor? Thats only thing I could think of.

I was able to finally tune my 6466 setup in my 2012 STI this past weekend using the KB header.... Speachless.. My 6466 in 4th gear makes 20psi by 4100rpm

Car also put down 622whp on 33psi on the mustang dyno, a 2013 stg2 + tmic wrx I tuned directly before made 265-270whp/290ftlbs maxing out the fuel system just to give an idea of how the dyno reads.

Nice to see KB is working on that merge. That was my major concern with this header.

Stock compression with Headgames pocket ports and GSC s2 cams.

Car makes like 430-440 on pumpgas settings

Right now we're looking at mid-May. Although, we've got a 20+ backorder list going so 'stocked' availability will be later depending on how big the backorder list gets.

Using casting technology you can do things that just can't be done effectively by cutting and forming tubing. The gas flow will be smoother, less turbulent, a true high-velocity merge.

When you visualize gas flowing through a tube, picture it as water. You launch a slug of water into a bent tube and it flows mostly along the outside of the bend. Gasses do the same thing; highest velocity/energy is off center favoring the outside of a bend. Even when there are two bends with a short straight between them the energy continues to travel off-center. So, to make a short story long... placing the sensor on the inside of the bends causes the least flow disruption/turbulence while still providing proper feedback. An inconvenience, yes. An uncompromising approach for maximum performance, definitely.

Not a new version per say, the layout is near identical. The collector design is just changing some.

Id appreciate a 2 bolt option as well. It may not be optimum, but for where my car is currently and is going, will be an acceptable
compromise.

Just what I herd man. I didn't say it did. I said I thought!

As far as searching shouldn't it be here on the first page or do you not care to sell them that much?

20+ on back order sounds like they're selling just fine. And in the first post there are clips. I know it's hard for your ego to admit you sound like an idiot without a rebuttal, but just let it go.
