Default PTE 58/58 turbo crapped out

Anyone ever sent their turbocharger in to PTE to get a rebuild treatment? Shop is telling me the ball bearings are likely the culprit and they overnighted it to PTE. They got on the phone with PTE and explained the situation and told them the car needs to be running by next Saturday and they said once the turbocharger was received then they would expedite it to the front of the line.

Was wondering what the average cost/ approx time to rebuild was?

PTE took 1 day with my 72mm journal bearing. The BB cartridges I believe are even easier to install, but are way more costly. I was out the door around $250-300. You are probably looking close to $800-1,000. Garret is probably the cheapest of all the big brand ball bearing turbo manufacturers and I believe the cartridge is around $600 now and you have to turn your core in, which has to be in decent condition.
