I'd ask those guys who are tuning you. Pretty sure its not their first stage 2 wrx.

His goal isnt much. With a e85 change he will get past his goal easily and safely.
Why would he need a bigger turbo. To get 350 torq and 320hp.

i didn't think perrin made UEL headers for the 08+ wrx's, and why not just get a perrin up-pipe to go with the headers? they make a 1.75" pipe which should keep up gas velocity, idk what the invidia is. and regardless, it'd be WAY more beneficial to get EL headers (holy headers), better use of money.

And a big oversight seems to be your stock TMIC, and BPV. you'll probably have to push ~19+ psi to get the #'s you want and the stock TMIC and BPV are known to hold people (not that it can't be done, or hasn't been done) back at those levels. if you wana be safer i'd get a new intercooler and BPV. and possibly an EBCS.

Meh about the lag. i see the real deciding factors between a TMIC and a FMIC as is it your daily? because you lose the crash beam and decrease safety during a crash. do you plan on running 400+whp, or plan on using it for autox etc?

I went TMIC cause i didn't like the idea of losing the crash beam, plus its my daily so no need for anything crazy.

I would think a new bpv with ebcs would help hold boost best. The process west tmic would help multiple pulls for track/autox. I saw grimmspeed made a tmic which may be a bit cheaper then the process west and it looks like a good design

Stay top mount...much cheaper and cleaner.

I plan on running a top mount on my 2.34 e-85 fp red car should make north of 500whp and I have faith that a grimspeed tmic will do its job just fine. Fmics just introduce a ton of pains leaky couplers, installing them sucks, crash beams depending on the kit ect.
