I'd love to, but I gotta work. Tuesday and Wednesday are my only free days. The weather is nice, though.

I can't either.

I agree though, the weather is wonderful right now...if only I kept shorts and flip-flops in my office

you should see more and more. Dsms are getting them and so are employees to drive around. As soon as it gets a bit warmer, they will be out. SOA doesn't like employees driving around on summer tires in winter

Why do gas attendants hang the gas cap instead on placing it on the door where it belongs? Is it really that hard to figure out?

I HATE the rule in this stupid state that doesn't let me pump my own gas.

I just go out there and pump it myself. A ****ty attendant once dented my gas door by closing it with the nozzle. Never again.

I won't go to the places that require an access card.

With my last couple of cars I've ended up getting out of the car and ripping it off, they just need to do it on a day when I'm already aggravated. Works like a charm though, after that they have no choice but to either hang it on the door or put it on top of the pump. Surprisingly, they most often go for top of the pump. I can't understand what makes it so difficult to put it on the gas door.

With the Scooby it happened at wawa. I ripped it off and told the attendant that it really bothers some people when they leave it hang there. Went back a couple days later, got the same guy, and it dropped the damn thing on the ground! My girlfriend has also told the same guy, the same thing. And he continues to let the caps hang. It baffles me. I hate going to that wawa for gas, it's just so convenient.

this..all of this x 1000.. lol
best thing you can do, is go to the same place over and over again and just fill up, so u can limit the amount of times going.
Its worse when i go somewhere, and i look over and see the 87 button lit up after i said 93, then i gotta scream over at the person for being a fking moron because he was on his phone.
i have no prob with the same guy i use, he hangs it up, and will watch my car if i walk into the store for a few mins..and throw him a few bucks every now and again. I dont have a prob with that. win win

Thankfully I dont have the little cable to connect my cap to car since I needed a new cap since seal went bad. But I have a station around corner from my house so deal with same one everytime when I was driving.

I have a strict no wawa gas policy...I don't think they have 93 octane.

I had the gas attendant on the phone problem at hess one time so I refuse to go to any of those. Now I have the same setup as you but with the guy at the sunoco around the corner from me...he loves our cars so he always takes care of mine (sometimes he even cleans the front and back windshield). don't worry I tip him well too

You are on point with the filling up the tank every time, **quick rant** - I hate when I pay with my credit card and the pump stops at 45.01 so they feel the need to push it to 46 but they end up at 46.02 because they suck at life - **end rant**

i go to wawa, they don't have 93, but the TP map is fine on 91 or higher. I never believe that you get the right octane anyway. Its probably a little mixed no matter which grade you pump.

I almost went UFC on a gas attendant that decided that the truck of my car was a great place to jump up on and rest his foot up on the bumper like it was a damn bus stop.

For the most part this is completely true - not sure how the pipelines are engineered here on the east coast but in southern cali the only pipelines that are separated from each other is the diesel. All other octanes are filtered via the same pipeline.

Tier 1 gas only for my STi. Sunoco, ExxonMobil, shell, chevron.
Got up early and washed the car and put it away for a nicer day. Cleaned the inside and outside of my summer wheels as well. Ready for wax when I find time. Probably Sunday morning before work.

Just an FYI.. I have a colleague way back and he was a gas boy.. He said they know that "Gas can damage paint" so why do you think they don't put on your gas door ? Huh ? My colleague told me it's really comes to jealousy. If the gasoline boy is between 20-35 they are likely to do it, Older guys don't... and I find this true to be honest..
