Sunroof is still an option on the limited not standard. Leather?? Why? Easier to clean, doesn't stain. I work around a lot of chemicals and if I get something on it I just wipe it off as soon as I get home and treat it with leather conditioner. With 37k miles my seats still look new!

I don't personally like them unless they're both heated and cooled. Freezing in the winter, and burning in the summer. Not fun. Nothing quite like cold, hard seats or sticky, hot ones.

I lol'd.

You're right, I don't often wear pants while getting into my previous cars with leather. That must've been the issue.

Nothing like sweaty, sticky balls and your legs sticking to the seats in the hot summer. No thanks

In all seriousness, prior to ordering I heard bad things about Subaru leather, enough to make me stay away. Plus the dealership already had a Sport Premium en route, so I got my car probably about 3 months sooner

It's listed as "Ruby Red Pearl" on his account, but if it's a 2012 like it says, it should be Camellia Red Pearl. '13 onward it's Venetian Red Pearl.

Good. I don't remember where I got the idea that it was Ruby Red Pearl.

I stand corrected. I need a touch-up pen.

Thanks for the info.

Did they change the grille out or is that the XV grille?

Well, I tend not to make changes unless they're also functional (like ripping off the craptacular Yokohama tires and replacing with a set of Nokians), but one change I'm definitely making which you might want to consider is a set of Rally Armors. The stock splash guards attract snow buildup like nobody's business. I've never seen so much buildup in a car, and I've been driving since the mid-90's, including seven years in New England. Once the weather gets nicer, I'll be making the change to RAs. as they are supposed to shed snow and ice much more efficiently.

For a nonfunctional mod, how about some different wheels? Or the sports mesh grille? Or both?

Definitely picking up some RA's myself. It seems pretty necessary.

How did you black out the lettering in the back? Did you just use plasti dip and it came off easily between the lettering? Or are you some kind of professional taper? Really wanting to do this thanks!!

haha Thought that was the XV one. I don't mind the stock grille, but it's way better since painting my middle bars matte black to match the honeycomb.

Yea I thought it would all come off the letters when you try and peel it off the paint. Glad it doesn't, should make my life easier

understandable question, but could've been searched for on google..

If you have skinny hands, and a small screw driver, you can do it with wheels on. You could do wheels off, just more time consuming imo..

It is very easy. I did my install with the wheels on and had no problem. I have a '14 hatch. It would be easier if you took the wheel off but it is not necessary. It was much easier to do then I expected it to be. It took me about an hour and a half to do all 4 without removing the wheels. I did not use a jack but I am sitting on stock suspension. Check out a couple of the youtube install vids they help filling in the blanks of the included instructions. Good luck let us know how it goes.
