Default Dimensions on a Perrin FMIC Bracket

Hello Nasioc,

I recently purchase a Perrin FMIC with no bracket. I figured if there aren't any used ones available here I would make one.

So! with that, can anyone get me dimensions on there current bracket that fits an 04-05?

Thanks
Kyle

Also I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I figured this is the place for any fab questions and concerns.

I am pretty sure you are not allowed to post dimensions on trademarked products in this forum. I would just bolt it to the throttle body, support it with tie wire or ratchet straps and get it where it should be and take a tape to it. Make some mock ups, when your are happy with those whip up the final product.

Completely Understand. I was a little vague in my description. I emailed Perrin about obtaining one but have yet to get a response. So I am taking matters into my own hands.

Im mainly looking for the mounting height of the core so I dont hit inside top of the bumper cover.

I like the hanging idea. Unfortunately for me my motor is out of the bay. Might have to do this when I get it back in.

What the hell are you talking about? Do you even know what trademarked means?

OK peep's. Settle down. It was just a question. No fighting!

In the end still no response from Perrin and temps are below freezing here in beautiful ohio so I guess this is going to wait until the sun wants to heat this piece of land on this earth.

Here's an idea, measure the distance from the mounting holes and make it longer than that. Are you sure you're up to making this?

Seconded. It's a front mount bracket, fairly straight forward.

Yes I'm up to making this. Thinking about making it out of aluminum though to reduce as much weight as possible. Might make a temporary with steel first. Did a little mock up with some zip ties and found my depth on the front bumper. So far so good. Im also looking at adding a bracket for an oil cooler and nozzle holders for the tmic sprayer for all in a one piece bracket.

Im thinking I need to start taking photos of this.
