Will your long board fit in your back seat? I have one also and mine fits in the back seat but has to come out of the window back there also. Then i just let the window up enough to snug it which keeps it from blowing and damaging the board. Just a suggestion.
It just straight died on me pulling Into the cemetery for the run Sunday morning. Started right back up. But if that happened on the highway....man.
I can try some fitment if my buddy lets me borrow it soon enough I'll need to get out to the beach to practices dick dives anyway. I haven't been on a board since 99.

Yeah I had a CATZ his kit back in the day without projectors. And I got high beams flashed at me all the time. But for the price I wasn't about to take them out. And back then projectors didn't come cheap like nowadays.

Anyone ever carry a longboard on top of their WRX without a rack? Im going to do the Trident competition@ Never Quit this year. I don't want to spend all the money for a rack(granted I do need a bike rack as well) for one day. I was thinking maybe some foam wrap, or thick comforter, but the roof aluminum is pretty flimsy on the 03s.
well the "softracks" might fit the bill, ,but i suggest that you lay a towel down under the softracks to keep wax and other things from getting onto your roof paint.

and you remember the rack system i had on my car..easily carry longboards..

Ah man, ya that would def flip me out if that happened on the highway too. I haven't given my board much use either. I got it new about 3 years ago and used it only a few times that summer probably and then put it away. It needs to be pulled out, cleaned and re waxed over. It will def see some water this summer though.

Its worth a shot to see if it will fit. Unless its extremely long then you may have a problem. But mine fits just perfect to where i dont look crazy going down the road with it . And i did the window trick when it took its first bang due to a good wind gust while driving, scared the Shyt outta me

I dont blame ya! If they flashed me i would just flash back You wanna see BRIGHT challenge accepted LOL

Smile Hello

Hello fellow Subaru enthusiasts! Just saw this thread and wanted to chime in. Anyone know of a reputable shop in town or nearby that will work on a 5mt? Got a new clutch and flywheel I need installed and the dealer wants my first born child to install it! Btw it's a red 04 wrx- some small mods. And if you know of any meets or shows please let me know. Thanks

I am not sure what the dealer was trying to charge you but i am sure it was high Maybe call Stage 6 and see what they charge to do this job for you. They are reputable.

As far as meets go North Florida Subaru group, (you can find them on facebook and also here) have regular meets. I suggest them because they are one of the only groups (subaru wise) that i see being consistent in their meeting up and planning events. They do tune days etc. Also that would be a good spot to ask someone for a reputable tune shop too because i have YET to get that kinda tune so i have not looked much at shops besides knowing about Stage 6 because they have been around for forever.

I believe the next meet in NFSG (north florida subaru group) is march 30th. They are meeting at Mandarin mill family golf and batting. But just get on facebook and look them up, send a group add request and your in there. I have received lots of help from there from the guys and gals, as well as hooked up with parts i needed, (spare the moment stuff)

We might beat your record this weekend! But in your defense, we cheated, we left the car jacked up and pulled apart already so all we are doing is putting it back together this weekend B-)

What you need to do is not drain or change any fluid yourself. Take any service records up to SoJax with you to go speak to service. Explain your vehicles situation. That's all you can do at this point. The second you start changing your fluid, any potential warranty claim you have is pretty much gone.

Be polite and ask for their help with it.
