That's right. Fogs on, DRLs off. Not for looks, for function.

Why not just make fogs the DRLs? That's what I did! Works great!

Nice... This is a much simpler solution than trying to add a switch to the DRLs.

Thanks, CalTech87!!

So you like having dimmed high beams as the DRLs?? I thought you didn't want that because it wears out the bulbs faster.

I suppose you didnt read everything. I have LEDs for DRLs. They are VERY bright and should last, as some Asian hookers may say, a "rong time".

Should be doing a retrofit soon, that will be my hi-beam.

Question for those with Rally Armor mudflaps.

How secure are your front flaps? The bracket is held by that lock pin and it seems very flimsy. I'm hearing some noise at highway speeds from the passenger mudflap and I'm not sure if it's the acutal flap or the bracket making noise.

Thanks!

Well instead of going with the long screw to connect the bracket and the mudflap I just reused a short screws I had from my aero guards and I haven't had a problem with noise

Anyone know if the front sway bar off from the 2015 wrx or sti will fit with our cars?

I am more interested in seating and steering wheel swapping between the 2015 wrx/sti and the 2012+ imprezas

actually i know someone who swapped brz seats into a crosstrek, and being that the crosstrek and impreza have the same interior including seats, you could probably get it in,

My guess is no I hear it's a completely different platform/chassis.

But I'm pretty sure the 08+ ones fit. Though most say they're no point in upgrading the front as it's 22mm stock and more than sufficient.

The front strut bar does fit off the 08+ WRX, I have the Perrin one, and it looks great. Doesn't do anything but dress up the engine bay

Those of you with LED Turn Signals...

Just ordered some for myself and was reading about hyperflash of course. Ran across this forum:

http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=80648

This makes it seem as though load resistors are more of a gimmick than anything. If you cant simply change the resistance in the flasher module by replacing the resistor thats already in there, or even one person filed it down to change the resistance, then why use load resistors? I think this solves the problem at the root, that you dont need high power resistors as an extra load to dissipate heat.

I have a large number of resistors on hand, wattage ratings/ohm ratings, and plan to get to the bottom of this. Removed the module today just to verify ahead of time its location/accessibility/construction.

Any thoughts?

First of all, adding resistance does not dissipate heat. As the load (resistance) increases, so does heat! Second, that doesn't look anything like my flasher module. Where did you find that?

The dissipate heat "theory" came from another forum. Obviously E = I x R, so more resistance or current will give you more voltage and thus heat.

Anyhow... I found it by looking at the service module, right behind the knee airbag. Looks damn similar to the one from the other forum thread I posted. Oh, I pulled the casing off, if that's whats misleading about it?
