I don't know where to put this so ill just put it here.


How the heck do you split an ej20 block? I've seen plenty of people show how to an a used motor but mine is new, it's just an empty block and one side (bottom) I was able to move apart with the jack trick but the upper portion won't budge at all. Heat, pb blaster and a thousand hots with a big rubber mallet and even small sledge can't get it loose

How is this done???!!!

Done. There was a black bolt on only one of the holes deep in the motor.. It being closed deck made it hard to find in the garage with little light. Oh well.
