Where is the PCV in a version 8 motor? Is this the PCV (under the throttle body connected by a black hose that leads go a gray y fitting)? Will the wrx part # work? Id like to replace this.
http://imgur.com/URSXLdz

Because I've also seen the PCV attached to the y pipe in some USDM cars.

Here's the wrx PCV assembly and part number:

On my V9, this was definitely not present. It just has a regular metal PCV valve that threads into the intake manifold.

This is the wrong PCV assembly for 2JZ's car. Note the PCV in the T fitting and the sensor plug.(which isn't used with the 207 ecus).

That was my point...his original question was if the WRX part works or not. His car is an 05, so I posted the part number for the 05 PCV assembly, which won't work for him (as far as I know).

The later edit you added about using an 02 or 03 PCV was the missing piece of info.

I don't know how you saw he has an 05 from his profile or post.
He could buy that pass through fitting and get the 05 wrx part to work. It would just look like an octopus with that useless sensor unplugged and flapping around

We're on another forum together...we both have a Saab 92x.

He should just go with the regular metal valve that threads into the intake manifold, I think we're in agreement on that!

Thanks for the information guys. I pulled the part number from opposed forces but wanted to be sure.

How's your swap running Kornfeld?

Good. My replacement intercooler showed up this past weekend, so I need to install that. I just haven't had a chance to do so for the last few days. Hopefully I can finish with getting it tuned now.

Aside from that, I've just been tying up a few odds and ends. I've got a leaking thermostat, so I need to get that pulled back apart and fixed.

Just Finished playing around on the Dyno ....

POWER - 441WHP / 432WTQ

- Engine v8 EJ207
- Boost 25 PSI
- Injectors size -1000cc Top feed
- Injector duty cycle - 80%
- Elevation -100ft
- Turbo-FP RED
- Fuel E90
- Dual Walbros 255's

The clutch has 20% left on it if im lucky, so wouldn't be surprised if it hit just over 450WHP once i install the Twin plate.

Attached Dyno sheet is the 2nd Pull. 433WHP. Car ended up making 441WHP / 432WTQ
EJ207 POWER!!!

What did you pay for the motor if you don't mind me asking? Also, you should just pony up for ID 1k's, even if you don't run E85.
