I wouldn't buy a 7.5" wheel.

I wouldn't run any wider than a 225 on that wheel.

Car: 2004 WRX STI Stock Suspension & Alignment
Wheels: XXR 522 18x8.5 +48
Tires: That's the question, 225/40 or 235/40

I have been checking around and get different answers from different vendors as to what is "recommended" for this setup. Half say the 225 while the other half say 235. I believe and have read that the 235 would be the better route, but will they fit correctly without any rubbing/modifications?

Just curious what I am looking forward to in the fender rolling/puling department? I might be wong but perhaps just rear roll? Is it best to just cut them and go from there? Thanks.

No one will be able to tell you. We don't know what kit you have, let alone wha fitments will work.

But you can do better than BC's and XXR's.

And you typically can't roll or pull a wide body.....

You'll probably have better luck in rs25 or browsing through members car gallery. There are a few wide body Gc's in there.

You don't have to buy sub par parts because you're "new". Spend the money once.

Offset: That's the question, I want a flush look.

I've seen 11+ sedans and hatches run this setup with no problems at stock ride height. I would like to do the same. I can't decide between +45 or +42 offset. If someone has pictures on a 08-10 sedan it would be AWESOME!
I'm about to pull the trigger on a new set of wheels and tires any day now.

Love this look!! I have a white 09 Wrx hatch and wasn't sure if I'd like how these wheels would look but I love it! I also have bc br coils how low are you in these pics? I would be looking to go lower if possible.

3mm isn't going to really make any difference.

You are prepared to roll your fenders, yes?
And I'm not certain by any means, but you may be getting pretty close to strut or the inner rear fender liner with that setup.

P.S. Car will be a bit 'off' looking with that wheel/tire setup on stock suspension, IMO.

Wheels: enkei Rpf1's
Wheel size/offset: 18x9.5 + ?? (Need help on the offset)
Tires: the stock 245/40 r18's currently on the car
Suspension: stock for now
Alignment:n/a
Fenders: willing to roll
Spacer: do not want

My question is, what's a good offset to clear the sti brembo's without sacrificing performance/maintaining the best performance, steering feel ect. My main concern is performance over looks. That being said, do I need to go with a more narrow wheel than 18 x 9.5? Thanks for the advice!

Edit. Looking at a set of 18x9+35. This seems like a happy medium if I understand this offset business. Anyone have any input for me?

Stock suspension as of now will be switching to koni struts with rce yellows

I want to know if I can make this work using the stock camber by just rolling and pulling or would I need camber bolts ect...
Also I know these tires are a bit big don't plan on keeping this size what would be an ideal size for my setup.
My wheels poke a Tad and want to make it flush without going to crazy with the camber.

Curious on how negative my camber will need to be, to fit this setup
something tells me if you're contemplating this set up you already know what the answer will be. it's a complete guess but i'd think something like -5 would be the starting point plus you'll likely need adjustable rear upper control arm bushings. the tire model choice and corresponding stretch will be a variable. trial and error unless you can find someone with a similar set up but i dont think you'll find much like that on here. good luck

These are rubbing in back over hard bumps, not looking to pull rears. If I went with a 18x8.5 +48 same tire would I be any better off? If not what size can I run with this tire?

Thanks guys!

I'm surprised that's rubbing. But and 18x8.5 +48 shouldn't be a problem.
