Default FHI 2pot vs brembo rear brake bias

seeing as i couldn't get an answer in the brake section...

the brakemath spreadsheet thinks that the FHI 2pots have more braking torque. the brembo's are iirc 316mm rotors with a 36mm piston. the FHI 2pots are a 290mm rotor with a 38mm piston. but stoptech front brakes to suit brembo have LARGER pistons than to suit wrx.

what gives? are the brembo's higher torque or not?

Piston area times radius arm = about 2% more for FHI

The brembos dont have higher trq, then 2pots. They do however have more thermal dispersion. Basically the Brembos start to work better after repeated hard braking from higher speeds. 120-140+ on trackdays. Or the users "over use" their brakes and are killing them. IMO I normally find users need to upgrade their Pads, fluid and lines. If they use the right parts their current brakes will prove to be sufficient.

Of course the fanboys wont hear that...
