For the Aquamist HSF3 system installed in my '07 Forester XT, I used the stock windshield washer reservior. Photos below show the two float switches installed (lower one for system failsafe activation, upper for tank-low warning light), outlet tapping to pump and pump mounted next to reservior. To further protect the pump from any possible water drips or splashes, I made a splash shield out of a plastic food container and placed over the pump.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of power was the car making and what were the flow requirements to use a two pump system?

Default HFS-3 in WRX (large pics)

Here are some install pictures of my HFS-3 as well on my WRX. I wanted to go for a very stealth look. I think the pump mounting came out pretty slick.

First, I made a template.

Then mount your pump to the piece of metal made from your template. Trial fit the pump on the bracket as mounting it higher or lower will influence your water outlet connection as well as clearance to the fender. The washers are used to fill the indentation where the fuel pump controller used to be.

Connect the water line before mounting the bracket to the fender area.

Relocate your fuel controller. I drilled a couple holes and moved it a few inches up.

The bracket and pump mounted to existing holes in the fender area.

STI IC tank mounted next to it.

Since my wife didn't let me get the STI back in 05 (hindsight), my car doesn't have the means to snap the tank down. Make a bracket to secure it.

Wrapped the water lines in split loom tubing and route through existing hole by wire harness.

Down the side of the car and pops out here.

Attach it to one of these.

Labonte ISG-10 with IFS-10 Failsafe and FLS-10 Low Fluid Level Switch

Noob to Meth. Found for a great deal, figured why not...... [flamesuit]

Running a PDX 40BB turbo on the LGT now, but have plans to swap to an AVO420BB unit (sitting in the closet)

thanks for the install pix (though most are pre-early 09) giving me some ideas, but ultimately will probably be installed by my tuner when the new turbo goes in

I was worried about that at first. However I talked to the nice people supporting aquamist and they said it isn't a problem. Since it's such a short distance, the powerful pump has no problems drawing it up.

You can't go much lower if any in that spot. The pump outlet will start to hit the fender well. You -may- be able to make the bracket longer and move the pump lower and further away. I didn't because I was afraid it would maybe flex too much and hit inside the quarter panel.

Nothing special, just a trunk mounted setup. I found some fabric to match the trunk liner, I think it adds a nice touch. Before it was all wood, looked kind of ghetto. Great part is, I can still access my jack.

2011 STI Sedan. Still in the install process but my tank is done. I went with Aquamist HSF-3 and a Howerton Engineering two one gallon tank setup. I used weather pack connectors and a quick disconnect so that I can easily remove the tank from the trunk without having to open the tank up and unscrew or unplug things inside the box.

Couple quick questions. Right now I have an SMC setup (with Labonte MAF controller) that uses the factory washer fluid reservoir. I was hoping to clean up the engine bay a bit during my FMIC install and wanted to relocate the meth injection back to the factory IC sprayer tank. Will my current pump be adequate to pump the extra distance? Also, am I better off going with SS braided lines or what kind of lines should I get to run it to the engine bay (and where can I get them).
Thanks in advance.

Here is what my setup looks like...I haven't ran meth in a few years cause I'm running stock internals and don't need any issues to arise.
Also, I could have used my stock I/C spray tank. Just another option.

And of course that cherry drank.

Is that the coolingmist? How long have you been running it for? Any fail safe or no?

Hey 02nismokiller. Yeah it's the Coolingmist stage 1 trunk mount kit. I've been running it for the last 2 years without issue. Being that I'm just running a low boost set up I decided against running any fail safes, it's just more for safety then for performance.
