I have the feels to do something, but I don't know what we can pull off so late. Randomly decided I'm going to do all my car stuff tomorrow.

Almost but no, doing my light swap instead. I have a few buddies with black S4s there though. Great day for it!

Also won't be going because I'm hopefully tackling a wheel bearing, changing my oil, clay barring etc. etc.

ugh, that sucks!! wheels looks niiiice though. get better soon, i know how much backs suck, been there a bunch of times. hopefully you have some meds to help?

I got my lights back from Overland on Thursday and needed to swap them back in. I had his donor lights (which he dropped off to me on his way through to WBM) while he was replacing the faulty TSXR lenses in mine. Mine were the 1st of 7 sets of bad lenses that Jason had to deal with, TRS apparently switched manufacturers and there was a bad initial batch and little/no QC. So now the donor lights are out and i have to ship them off to another guy out in Cali. My painted/HID lights are back in with new lenses and a few washers to add more color in the cut offs.

After taking my bumper cover off so many times, the gap between it and the fenders has grown. What do we think about O ring quick releases? Like these but black (nice looking STi i saw at Staggered). I kinda like them but i'm also not going for the jdm fanboy look either. I have them sitting on my work bench, can't decide if i want to do it or not...

Just some advil, hoping to feel better, the stock wheels were pretty heavy compared to the BBS, damn it

And that is some sucky **** to deal with, Overland must be BS about that.

They're fine in black, anything else is too showy for a part that shouldn't be cool haha, like a tow hook etc.

A lot of people who take off their bumpers a boatload use a quick release kit like above, many stance"er type dudes use this.

Just got back from the beach in my black bug with the misses.

Anyone go to Car and Kicks today? I'm so pissed I just heard about it yesterday and had to work this morning and didn't get to go.

That's exciting. Phantom jack stand though? I finished clay barring today and hopefully tomorrow I can polish and wax. I have the whole week off so I can do my oil and wheel bearing as early as I can... Got a 25" breaker bar and everything.

I just don't think i can do the quick releases, but i'll think about it. If the gap keeps bothering me maybe i'll give it a shot. If only it didn't require 4 holes in the body work... then again i've had thoughts of a new front clip at some point anyways

Here is what is sitting in the garage:

There is also this which i like the desing/engineering of more but the look less. Only 2 holes in the bumper cover though which at this point i consider sacrificial
