Default kartboy front shift bushing

Can I just cut the side off the old one and slip it out? Seems easy if that works? Thanks.

I just pushed it out using the bolt it normally slides over. (Not my invention.)

Take the plate off. put the nut back on. and slide it off. Works like a charm.

Nice, that worked just had to push a little harder.

Another question, the new bushing is not as wide as the stock bushing, I used a 1/2 fender washer to take up the space. It was like a 1/16 inch or so different. Does it matter?
