Default Visconti Tuning - Getting started with SubaruDIT

Considering my Subaru Forester XT has over 20K on the clock I thought it was about time I started posting up stuff about it.

So the 14' XT has a very similar if not the same motor as the 15' WRX.

It's a 2.0 Direct Injection motor and what appears to be 10.5:1 compression.

I've yet to baseline line the car on the dyno but it feels pretty good.

What's interesting is the how little timing it actually runs compared to previous years.

Over the next few weeks I plan on installing a few performance mods and sharing the gains with everyone.

I hope to have a baseline dynosheet before the week is out

John

Ive been messing with the tune on my wifes crosstrek xv. Its not direct injected but it is 11 to 1 cr. Its still a dog at 145hp. The cvt tranny locks the tq converter when switched to manual mode and using the paddle shifters. Makes doing power graphs on the road dyno simple with no tq converter affects.

Well the goodies have already started to come in for my SubaruDIT.

So Friday the XT hits the rollers to get it's baseline and more IAT data.

Hoping this upgraded intercooler will drop the charge temps.

Next week we'll be installing a downpipe / overpipe on my XT and doing some baselines on this sexy 15' WRX

If you can tune your 2.0 FXT and even the BRZ with ECUTek why can you not tune the new WRX yet? Basically the same ECU as the FXT yes? Seems like it should be available.
