For the intake resonator removal do I need to plug the hole thats left or is it fine? How easy is it to remove, is it just a couple of bolts and pull the intake housing out?

The intake resonator comes out kinda easy. Take the snorkel off. Unlatch the two clasps at the top and take the 10mm bolt off the front bracket. Take the 10m bolt out of the bottom of the air box. Then lift the front of the air box out.

To take the milk jug out, I just pulled like an SOB on it in a certain direction. Then it popped out. So basically just a pair of gorilla hands and a beer gut can help you pop it out. It's pressed into place, so there's no delicate way to just pull it out.

Leave the hole open, and disconnect the battery for a minute. This way you reset your fuel trims, etc.

This may be a dumb question, but what are the benefits of removing the intake resonator?

It gives the same induction sound from a aftermarket one when shifting ? Don't quote me on that one

The intake box has a hole at the bottom where the resonator plugs in. When you remove the resonator you open up that hole as a result. That hole is also located on the bottom of the box somewhat near the foglights. It basically gives your stock intake box another place to draw air from other than just the snorkel.

There is also an Australian and Japanese market bottom snorkel that can be installed that helps draw air closer to the front of the car, further insuring that colder air is inducted.

If you live in really wet climate, the bottom snorkel may not be a good idea though.

I took a friend for a ride in it this afternoon and he was like, holy *&^%! I didn't expect that out of this car. Good.

With Subispeed's C Lights on.

With Subispeed's DRLs and C lights on. The DRLs are very white but they look yellow in this stupid picture.

From the back. That's what she said.

Looks great! When you get bored try gloss black next, that will look better

always a fan of blacking out/ plastidiping but this black grill on this color does nothing good to the car IMHO. I think it looks worst than stock. Not hating, just giving my honest opinion.

Yeah, stock mufflers look good. Just replace the j-pipe and midpipe for the most part.

Yes, I've switched it up a little. I prefer vinyl over plastidip. Here's the most recent look with Rally Armour Flaps.

^ Agreed with everything said. I want Greddy to fix their Evo3 exhaust for the 2015s. Subispeed had a video with that exhaust on their WRX, but apparently they had a lot of issues with it melting the bumper or something. But IMO it was one of the best sounding exhausts for the car.

Did you get the relay? Or just the universal kit?

I got the ScoobyMods harness - but really had to butch it to get it to work (i.e. not a direct fit by any means). The mounting bracket by ScoobyMods DOES NOT FIT either. I went at it with a drill press and everything so i won't be getting my money back (whoops!).

ScoobyMods website says for both the harness AND the bracket, that they fit "ALL YEARS." I should have done more research or called them.

Luckily... the bumper frame has 2 PERFECT holes for mounting these! Just get 2 7M bolts, and some nylon lock nuts, and you're good to go!
