It will get done, this impact most likely would have torn through the 3M though, but, I do plan to have CCA do some work. I have a friend's car I'm watching while he's out of country so I have plenty of flexibility at this time...

Maybe I'll cave and get the rear deck lid since they'll be making paint anyway...

Just ordered my 3M clear armor for the bumper, fenders, full hood, mirrors, and roof. Will be rebuilding my new work bench this weekend, vacuuming, and cleaning, will be repairing the 2 tiny rock chips, and the 1 slightly larger one, and then applying the 3M. Looking forward to giving it a shot.

Honestly, I enjoy doing it myself. If I fudge it, so be it, but otherwise, I find DIY projects to be very relaxing, gives me time to just be by myself, doing my own thing, listen to music, and if all goes well, it's always rewarding to take a step back and admire.
The headlamps were a huge bonus, I get a lot of positive feedback both from NASIOC forum members and locals who see it. Boost of confidence.

That's really cool that you got time fo dat. Reminds me of when I used to do stuff to my 2.5 RS. Now it's a huge chore to set aside time to work on my car. Like right now I should be switching around my wheels to put the less bald ones in the rear, but, meh. Which is ironic because I helped my coworker swap the wheels on their 4Runner in our warehouse the other day. My car would've been faster in easier in some cases.

I'm going to DIY my front license plate. The more I look at the relocation, the more I want to move the plate back to the middle. Hell, I might just screw into the bumper. I'm always going to need a front plate.

I looked those up, I think a DIY from Lowe's could do the trick too. I originally bought the relocation because I thought it looked good in pictures. It does not in person.

3M Ventureshield arrived today. Garage space will be completely top to bottom cleaned, and then the car will be washed and detailed tomorrow to prepare. Then it starts going on Friday evening / Saturday morning, and the weekend to dry/cure.
