sounds like you gotta play w/ a multimeter to track down the wire that's loose and or in the process of breaking completely.

Does the light on the radio change when you're wiggling stuff to get sound back?
If you have sound (static) you ought to be having radio too?

hmmmm electrical gremlinz, you haz 'dem

Also, that pic on the back of the 2011 radio was probably just a ground connection for the radio. some OEM radios have them and some don't. I don't remember if the back of my 2006's deck had one or not.

Light doesn't change... No radio or at least none that I can pick up... The only thing that works is the volume knob, all other buttons are useless... And I suck with a multimeter... I'd rather change a transmission than F with electrical issues...

did you wire in the radio amplifier wire too? it's basically the same as a power antenna or amp turn on wire but it power the antenna amplifier thing. (which may not be on an 02?)

I would almost say start from nothing, run new power, ground, illumination, and use the existing speaker wires.

test the speaker wires w/ a battery (9v or maybe a AA) on the +/- and see if the speaker clicks when you do it.
that will prove that the speaker wires are (probably) ok.

or just burn the damn thing to the ground (don't do that)

Where would that be at? All I have is my big plug, antenna, and ground... And that extra little two prong plug that we don't know what goes too...

And wire from where? Meaning where to, like obviously the plug but where to from there?

PS: THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR HELPING SO FAR!!!

do you have a regular antenna on the car or is it the antenna that's integrated into the window glass. if you have a regular antenna you might not have the amplifier thing.

Where the hell does that 2 wire plug go anyway? dig in and find that damn thing

you can get an add-a-circuit in the fuse box to get 12 volts for the radio. ground can go straight to the chassis.
