Default OEM intake snorkel

I just ordered a GrimmSpeed Radiator Shroud for my 2012 wrx premium model, and someone was telling me that when I install it I will need to remove my OEM intake snorkel. Can someone please tell me what this is, and how to remove it? (Pics would be great, but if not it's ok). I'm new to the car scene (i've always had older trucks), so I just need a little guidance.. I would really appreciate it!

Google intake snorkus removal. It's inside the passenger front wheel well area. You have to pull the fender liner out a bit to get to it. Takes about 30 minutes or so.

Also the long plastic piece that goes from the front grill to the intake area. Looks like a air scoop sort of.

I doubt u have to remove the plumbing in the fender unless you are installing something in there and need the space. Make sure before you remove that part.

I read the forum rules, and heard cross posting gets you points. Good job.
