The "younger people" that were influenced by Williams are all predominantly in their 30's and 40's now. Mork and Mindy ran from '78 to '82. Aladdin was in '92. Good Will Hunting was in '97. The "younger people" on FB weren't even born until the 2000's... mid 90's at the earliest.

I don't really consider Facebook's target audience in that demographic. FB is for tweens/teens and their helicoptering parents who are in their late 40's / early 50's (which is in turn triggering all the 20 somethings and under to leave FB).

Wait so Facebook is for kids and old people now?

When did this happen?

I don't want to come across as some sort of Facebook lover but...well...I do like it. And as much as it kinda/sorta pains me to say this but it is pretty much for all ages. Hell my grandmother uses it. Not to post pictures of cats or "you won't believe what happened next!" kind of junk but to check up on her family.

I'm getting real tired of the ALS ice bucket challenge.

1/2 of the videos I've watched aren't even ice water... probably nice and warm.

Somebody on my facebook just posted a vertical cellphone video of a tilted TV screen with the sides getting chopped off. I think that is grounds for removal.

I'm on FB too, but it's just not a big deal to me. Same goes for pretty much all my peers. I'm 36.

My parents use FB more than I do, and certainly there's far more of the under 30 crowd that I know through various clubs that seem to post all the time. But for me, and my age group, it's like a weekly thing to check in with at best.

People that use FB to beg.

I've got one girl in particular that had the balls to ask for someone to help her pay for a vacation for her daughter. I'm all for single moms and what not but maybe you should have thought about that 12 years ago when you were spreading your legs for anything with a pulse and got pregnant in high school.

And a vacation is a luxury, you're not entitled to one.

This. C'mon, man.

*Though Cris Carter's was kinda funny because he somehow managed to miss himself with the ice water and dumped it on Chris Berman.

Just in case you're worried, my Insanity posts will return in full force tomorrow. I took a short hiatus from the lovely workout and protein shakes, because I was literally building muscle so fast I GAINED weight and several inches in my thighs and arms. I'm trying to look and feel better, Sean T, not turn into the Incredible Hulk. ‪#‎atleastyouknowitworks‬
she did a full FOUR, count em, 4 days of the Insanity videos and was building so much muscle she had to stop. you guys, be careful with this stuff, i don't want to read about any of you getting too swoll.

Last person I unfollowed was doing nothing but posting about that Herbalife junk with 50 hash tags each post. Before I unfollowed her, I counted 20+ posts from her in 24 hours.

This is just too much. If you don't get it, its about how much water is used when raising cows. This is my limit and now that friend is removed from my feed. She used to have really interesting posts too.

The trickle of water bucket head videos has now turned into a flood on my Facebook.

And I've decided I don't like calling it a "feed". I suppose it is the correct term but it sounds like eating and people need to eat to survive. People don't need posts appearing on Facebook to survive.
